Trading code for both a covered warrant and a certificate consists of 10 characters as follows:
1st character stands for the year of expiry 2nd character indicates, according to the table below, the month of expiry and whether it´s a call or put warrant:

3th – 5th characters stand for the code of the underlying, for example the company code of the share in the trading system 6th – 7th characters are standard: EW for covered warrants, CF for certificates 8th - 10th characters refer to the exercise price (inaccurate value)
If the 10th character of a trading code is a letter:
"X" as the last character of the trading code indicates that original conditions and terms of the security have been changed. The change can be found from the issuer´s Stock Exchange releases.
Other characters (for example C, H or T) at the end of the trading code indicate that the security in question involves special features described in the terms of the security.

8 = Year if expiry, 2008 O = put warrant, month of expiry, expires in March NOK = underlying EW = standard 100 = exercise price
